There are lots of mechanics to consider here, such as collecting fragments, battling foes in a new domain, and earning rewards. Oh, and the main reward here is actually getting Diona to join your roster. | Outer Wilds DLC likely, referenced by publisher with eyes Posted: 29 Apr 2021 04:30 PM PDT  Everyone’s favorite open-world mystery game, Outer Wilds, might be receiving some DLC in the future. The game currently has an overwhelmingly positive rating on Steam, so it’s a good bet that players will be more than happy to dive back into the game. The first big clue is that a new SteamDB entry, which showed up on April 28. The DLC is apparently going to be titled Echoes of the Eye and will presumably cast players into the role of some kind of bat ophthalmologist. Okay, no, I completely made that last part up. But that sure would be something, wouldn’t it? The Twitter user who initially tweeted about the SteamDB page was subsequently retweeted by the publisher of Outer Wilds, Annapurna Interactive. Its tweet was a single eye emoji. Get it? Echoes of the Eye. It’s got the word “eye” in it. Brilliant. The game’s developer also retweeted it with different eye emojis. | Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms’ add-on free on the Epic Games Store Posted: 29 Apr 2021 04:00 PM PDT  The Epic Games Store has yet another freebie available for players this week. Starting today, Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, itself a free-to-play title, will offer EGS users the Epic Champions of Renown add-on pack — as shown last week. From April 29 to May 6, users on EGS simply need to install and log into the game through the client to claim the add-on. This is available to any and all who log-in to the game, so it applies to returning players as well as newbies, making this a great time for the uninitiated to jump in and give the game a shot. If you’re not familiar with Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, it’s a strategy management game based on Dungeons & Dragons. Cosmetics, Enthusiast Gaming is partnering up with video-sharing social networking site TikTok for a competition that puts players in the spotlight. Gamers Got Talent is a content series, allowing millions of video game fans a chance at earning $25,000 USD and e.l.f. beauty products. The whole show kicks off on May 9 at 7 PM ET, with auditions happening now. The kind of ‘talent’ Gamers Got Talent is searching for is broad, and personal. It’s whatever special thing you can do, from performing music to doing tricks. If you can juggle controllers, then this might be up your alley.
