| May 2021 PC game releases: Resident Evil Village, Biomutant, Mass Effect Legendary Edition Posted: 30 Apr 2021 11:15 PM PDT  We’re surging towards the end of spring. Now, with May 2021’s PC game releases and content drops, we’ll see offerings such as Resident Evil Village, Hood: Outlaws & Legends, Biomutant, King of Seas, and Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground. The month also has remasters, re-releases, ports, DLCs, and new seasons, including Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster, Days Gone, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids, and Destiny 2‘s upcoming season. Moreover, among other PC game releases in May 2021, there are also those leaving or entering Early Access like Subnautica: Below Zero, Solasta: Crown of the Magister, Frozenheim, and GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon. | Genshin Impact: Serenitea Pot — The Traveling Salesman and new items Posted: 30 Apr 2021 11:00 PM PDT  There’s a popular FPS game that happens to have a weekly vendor — it’s Destiny 2 and the NPC’s name is Xur. The tentacle-faced vendor arrives each weekend, spawning every Friday and leaving on Monday. Now, it looks like Genshin Impact has its own version of Xur. | SnowRunner set to get “huge” Season 4 update alongside Steam release Posted: 30 Apr 2021 03:45 PM PDT  Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive recently revealed that their venerable off-roading sim SnowRunner is finally coming to Steam on May 18. But, that’s not the only thing that’s happening with the game that day. It has now also been revealed that SnowRunner players both existing and new will get to enjoy the new content of Season 4—the Amur Oblast update. The new Season 4 update contains the “largest addition to SnowRunner yet.” Amur Oblast is the new area set in Russia, and is a collection of four maps that are 4 square kilometers in size. The individual zones are Urska River, the Cosmodrome, Northern Aegis Installation and Chernokamensk. The entire collection is centered around the theme of exploring the area surrounding a rocket assembly workshop. | Destiny 2’s Vault of Glass raid returning late May, new World First race Posted: 30 Apr 2021 03:30 PM PDT  Destiny 2‘s current season, The Season of the Chosen, may be reaching its conclusion, but the folks at Bungie have a few more tricks up their sleeves before transitioning to the next. In a blog post on Bungie’s official site, the developer details exactly what players can expect for the time being. First of all, Nightfalls are getting double rewards for a week. Second, the final Seasonal Challenge can be completed, which will allow players to redeem a free emblem. None of that is the big news, however, as the Vault of Glass raid is returning on May 22 to shake things up. You’ll naturally have to wait for the next Destiny 2 season before you can jump in again, however. Bungie promises the narrative will remain unchanged, but there will be some noticeable wrinkles added. | Everspace 2’s first update launches today, includes new content Posted: 30 Apr 2021 03:15 PM PDT  Everspace 2 was a great game well worth picking up on day one of Early Access. After three and a half months, however, Everspace 2 is finally set to receive its first large content update. With this, the game is moving on its way to the eventual finish line that fans are waiting for with bated breath. This new patch adds a significant number of new things too, so it’s been well worth the wait. Players will be able to warp through space immediately to check on what’s on offer. The biggest addition with the first update is that the Everspace 2 story will get not only new missions, but sidequests as well. These are added to the Union star system, giving players more meat to chew on while there. But that’s not all. The new missions feature a new boss, plus there’s a new companion to work with, a brand new ship class, and even a new enemy faction to face off against.
