| CertifyOS Raises $4.5M for its Platform That Makes Licensing and Credentialling Seamless with APIs Posted: 01 Feb 2022 06:27 AM PST 30% of total healthcare expenditures in the United States are the direct result of administrative costs. Digital adoption in parts of the healthcare system have alleviated some of the burden but work remains to be done to ensure seamless and efficient patient care experiences. CertifyOS is a network management infrastructure platform for the healthcare industry that focuses on licensing and credentialing. By leveraging the company's APIs, the process of onboarding providers into health plans eliminates unnecessary paperwork and delays, trimming the process from months to minutes. The startup was founded in late 2021 by a team of former Oscar Health employees that have collected credentialed over 40,000 healthcare providers. The platform covers major provider types (MDs, DOs, PAs, RNs, NPs, and LCSWs) and also handles state licensing nationwide as well as hiring. AlleyWatch caught up with CertifyOS CEO Anshul Rathi to learn more about the inspiration for the business, the company's vision to build a healthcare cloud that streamlines the time to onboard, future strategic plans, first institutional funding round from investors that include Upfront Ventures, Max Ventures, Arkitekt Ventures, Goldline Ventures, and the Hustle Fund. |
