With its narrow, delicately upholstered sides, Noto exudes tranquillity at the table and in the room. In the ensemble, they appear like a finely drawn line, which is particularly emphasised by the protruding backrest. The disc-like upholstered surfaces appear spartan, but due to the elaborate under-springing of the seat and the elastic back, they offer optimal seating comfort. All details are reduced to the minimum. Even the castors concealed in the front of the side panels, which provide flexibility and mobility, are barely visible. Oriental traditions of sitting and relaxing were the inspiration for this sofa programme. So it is not surprising that it always looks as if a few loose cushions are lying together. The archetypal seating furniture is reduced entirely to its original form – the folded cushion. The straight contours are ingeniously emphasised by a double cut seam. In addition, the divan-base design is particularly versatile: The individual, sumptuously designed seating elements can be used separately as an easy chair or stool, or as a sofa or an entire reclining area.  |

In the version with the swivel plate base, it has an invisibly integrated tilt mechanism that gently tips the seat shell backwards. Even the release button is concealed in the armrest and revealed by just one visual cue – a small tone-on-tone embroidered circle. A further embroidered detail strikingly emphasises the V-shape of the back upholstery. Support and comfort are guaranteed by the headrest, which can be tilted by 20 degrees. All in all, a seemingly light, sculptural design.  |

The folded seat cushion has served the Stuttgart designers Jehs+Laub as a source of inspiration for the Jalis collection since 2010. Relaxed communication on floating cushions, that is their motto. Now the sofa and chair family has been extended to include a Lounge easy chair. With visually accentuated contours and firm upholstery, it looks both elegant and cosy. "We always follow an idea and are faithful to it for a long time, developing it further. For us, the product has to tell a story," Jehs+Laub comment on the new addition to the Jalis family.  |

The storage elements are all available in the three wood finishes and three new satin lacquer colours Japanese red, ochre yellow and steel blue, and come in a variety of sizes. All storage elements come with a flap down mechanism and cable management and feature a signature soft profile door shape. Yee allows the flexibility to create a personalised configuration, creating the spaces you need for concealed storage and display of objects.
