The banners feature characters with increased drop rates, including one five-star character and three four-star characters. Yelan and Kuki Shinobu are the most recent new Genshin Impact characters to arrive in the Genshin Impact 2.7 update, and we know that Heizou is arriving in the next update. Each update arrives with a new banner that lasts around three weeks, and after it expires, it's followed by a second banner which also lasts roughly three weeks, at which point it's update time once again. Wondering what the next Genshin Impact banner is? Even though we hear rumours of new Genshin Impact characters arriving in forthcoming updates, we won't know their exact release date until we know which banner they will be a part of, and whether it'll be the first or second banner in the update. Occasionally, banners don't stick to this schedule - most notably, update 1.3 had three two-week banners, so that Hu Tao's banner didn't cross over with the Chinese New Year. Typically, each limited character banner - or Event Wish - contains a five-star character, and three four-star characters. One of the most impressive recreations we've seen is still in the works, and it's all about World of Warcraft - in fact, it's so impressive that even Blizzard itself has complimented it. YouTuber Yunatahel, who does a lot of World of Warcraft videos, also happens to be recreating Stormwind from the MMO game in Minecraft. Stormwind, also known as Stormwing City, is the capital city of the area known as Stormwind and the largest human city in Azeroth. It's named so because of sudden squalls of wind that occur due to a leyline pattern around the city. While this Minecraft build is still in the works, the video shows off a stunning level of detail and craftsmanship - not to mention adoration for the source material. Each building is adorned with a beautiful tiled roof, the cobbled walkways look almost real, and the lighting effects add a sense of life to the area as well. New AMD Zen 3 CPUs could arrive before Ryzen 7000 Zen 4 chips Posted: 04 Jul 2022 07:01 AM PDT AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs are on the horizon, but Zen 3 might be here to stay for a little longer. Zen 4 should eventually supersede the company's current-gen offering, but rumours point toward new Zen 3D chips that cater to budget gaming PC builds. According to reliable hardware leaker Greymon55, "several new" AMD Zen 3 processors are on the cards, and we'll apparently hear more about the lineup next month. So far, AMD has only released one 8-core Zen3D SKU, but we'll potentially see team red expand its AM4 portfolio with cheap and cheerful gaming CPUs that pack a punch. Speaking of AM4, there's seemingly also still life left in AMD's current-gen platform, as Greymon55 claims we'll see "low-end AMD products" in the future. In other words, you might not have to upgrade to the best motherboard to jump on the Zen 4 bandwagon, as budget chips could still boast older socket compatibility. This system was introduced in the Genshin Impact 1.6 update, but the developers have been slow to give every character an outfit. One of the big questions surrounding the Genshin Impact outfits was how skins were planned to be distributed. As Genshin Impact locks characters behind gacha mechanics, players were worried that skins may be sold using the same system. There are two methods to unlock events: purchase the skin for 1680 Genesis Crystals, or complete a specific event. Project Cambria, not Oculus Quest 2, is Meta’s main priority right now Posted: 04 Jul 2022 04:42 AM PDT The Oculus Quest 2 might be Meta's best VR headset, but the social media giant is reported "laser focussed" on Project Cambria - a mixed reality platform that's set to arrive this year. While the Quest 2 has proven itself as a gaming device, the company hopes to properly establish itself within the metaverse using the new pair of standalone goggles, which could in turn help it face fierce financial headwinds. According to an internal "investment priorities" memo obtained by Reuters, Project Cambria will help drive the firm's key metaverse priorities, namely Avatars and Horizon Worlds. Meta's Chief product officer Chris Cox also says the launch of Cambria will help inaugurate a "prosumer/industrial-grade mixed reality product line," something that suggests more devices are on the cards. The memo may cover VR ambitions, but the Oculus Quest 2 isn't included on the priority list. Project Cambria VR headset release date speculation, price, and specs Posted: 04 Jul 2022 04:52 AM PDT Project Cambria is set to be Meta's next best VR headset that's fuelled by metaverse ambitions, but it won't replace the Oculus Quest 2. The company says the mixed reality device will cater to more than just gaming, even going as far as to claim it could replace your work PC or laptop. While this suggests the device will be all work and no play, there's reason to believe it'll still be a great option for VR games, even if the Oculus Quest 3 ends up being the company's actual next-gen VR gaming gizmo. We suspect that Project Cambria is the new title for the previously rumoured Oculus Quest Pro, but rumblings of an enhanced Oculus Quest 2 Pro are now making the rounds.
