Seafood boils are not typically something I seek out. You often need a drop cloth and two showers afterwards. On a recent trip to Florida though, I was all in at Melbourne Seafood Station! Having traveled up and down the east coast I can tell you Florida seafood is just as good as Maryland, or anywhere else. This laid back seafood restaurant has four locations, mostly around Brevard County, plus one in Orlando. The staple here is the classic seafood boil. Their menu offers a dizzying array of seafood combinations. Everything is highly customizable. It helped that I studied the menu in advance and went in with a game plan. I had this beautiful boil that combined Royal Red shrimp, lobster, smoked sausage, corn on the cob and garlic toast. Everything was excellent! Their unique medley of spices and signature garlic sauce was simply exquisite. Friendly, patient staff that is happy to answer all your questions. I highly recommend finding a Melbourne Seafood Station if you ever visit the Florida Space Coast.
