Hailed as the oldest pub on the River Thames, circa 1550. Cobbled streets surround this hidden gem in the heart of Rotherhithe, London. In fact, this traditional English pub overlooks the original 1620 mooring point of the Mayflower ship before it sailed to America. The food here was excellent and they had an impressive selection of cask ales. I ordered the "Steak Pie", served with mashed taters, vegetables and a delicious gravy. Jr FoodObs had an outstanding "Prawn & Chorizo Linguine". If I ever visit London again in the future, I am definitely coming back to this special place!
