Established since June 2021 and based on the West Cliff of Whitby, this stylish restaurant has a gorgeous dining area with floor to ceiling windows, and they offer freshly made pizzas, pasta, seafood, salads and not forgetting desserts.
For Ben's birthday this year I took him for a weekend in Whitby and found this picturesque restaurant based on the West Cliff (near the paddling pool). The venue is really lovely and inviting and the food looked fantastic, the small amount that we tried tasted fantastic too. I would say the price point is a little higher than what we would regularly pay for pizza or pasta BUT everything was freshly made in an open kitchen and the setting really made it feel special. A great place for an occasion/celebration.
We enjoyed;
Meat Lover's Pizza; Pepperoni, Salami, Tuscan Sausage, Nduja, Ham, Spring onion. Could you get any more meat on one pizza?! All ingredients complimented each other though, it was bloody gorgeous!
Crispy Chicken & Mushroom Rigatoni, with Summer Truffle. A really yummy and comforting bowl of pasta. Not too over-facing but definitely filling.
We were full enough from our mains so didn't have the chance to try anything else but I have to say it was great to sit at the counter and watch everything being made fresh even the pasta.
Pizza West's menu also offers; Nibbles, Appetisers ranging from £11, Pizzas ranging from £15 - £20, a couple of Pasta dishes from £18 - £23, various Sides, and Desserts from £6 - £9. You can wash all these delicious courses down with a choice of beverages including beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks.
