And the milky lava French toast is one example. It's appearing in HK-style restaurants everywhere in China but only because people are able to take mouthwatering photos to put on social media. In reality, this dish is neither a traditional one nor that tasty, in my opinion. Essentially it's French toast topped with Ovaltine powder, with a ridiculous amount of condensed milk concealed within, so that when you cut it open, the condensed milk spills out like lava.
