 | dce88 Dec 2 | The Poway Brigantine has finally reopened and their remodel is absolutely stunning! The restaurant is so bright, airy, clean and cozy. It has a modern feel while maintaining some sense of a traditional nautical vibe. The new furniture is really nice and comfortable. The booth tables however are fixed and don't give much leeway to your midsection. If you're chubby I'd recommend sitting at a regular table with chairs. I'd even go so far as to say they "remodeled" their culinary team. I often order their clam chowder and it's always been inconsistent, sometimes downright bad. This visit it was outstanding! Also, crab used to be an endangered species here when ordering certain dishes. My Shrimp & Crab Louie was teeming with sweet crab and tasted great. Service was friendly and professional.
