Sheffield's first drive up to double decker bus serving some of the best buttermilk chicken and proper good Angus beef smash burgers in town. Based across the road from Sheffield Arena, this drive-to food spot is open 7 days a week from 3pm and their food is available to collect or order via Uber Eats
I was kindly invited to try some of Smash City Burger's food and what an absolute treat it was. I honestly think their Las Venturas Burger is the best buttermilk chicken burger I've had to date - Delicious buttermilk crispy Fried chicken topped with a cheesy jalapeño flavoured nacho crunch, finished with jalapeños, mayonnaise, lettuce & the house sauces. All held together between a sweet and buttery brioche bun (£10.99 on it's own or £12.99 as meal with fries & drink- pricey but worth it).
Their Crispy Buttermilk Fried Chicken Loaded Box is superb - Delicious Buttermilk crispy Fried chicken layered over a bed of crispy and fluffy fries, generously topped with rich nacho cheese, finished with lettuce and jalapeños (£7.99 - reasonably priced).
Of course their Prime Angus Beef Burgers are fabulous too, that goes without saying. We tried The Los Santos Burger - Two 100% Angus beef smash patties, topped with American cheese, jalapeños, lettuce & our delicious house sauce. All held together between a sweet and buttery brioche bun. (£10.99). Oh and their home sauce which is a spicy Cajun based mayo - superb for dipping!!
Juice with a difference - the drinks choices here offer something different to the usual Pepsi or Sprite, we took away a Strawberry Miranda and Rubicon, a tropical twist to our meal.

Just to note that we did have a bit of a wait from ordering when we arrived (about 40 mins), but it was well worth it when we got comfy at home to feast to our hearts content, so just be aware there may be a long wait. However the place seemed very popular with another 5-8 cars arriving for food. The food is scrumptious, check it out and let me know what you think.
