Last post was a dine-out steak and to follow up, here's one on home-made steak. I made this steak as part of the family Christmas dinner last year and while the doneness was perfect at medium-rare, somehow I salted the steak waaaaaaaaaay too much and for the first time in my entire steak-making career, it was too salty. Not disastrous and in fact I didn't mind it too much, but definitely could have been a lot better if the salt level was adjusted.
