I don't get down to this area much, but decided after returning from a recent trip to check it out since it's so close to the airport. It's location from the street and parking lot is not really obvious. It sits behind a fishing charter company with an unassuming entrance on the side. Indoor dining is not that prevalent but there's plenty of outdoor seating along the wraparound deck. I can't imagine not sitting outside here unless it's unusually cold. Stunning views of the surrounding marina makes for such a lovely setting. The staff I encountered were all so friendly and genuine. One even complimented my t-shirt. Order at the counter and they give you a number; food is brought out to you. There is an impressive selection of local craft beers on tap. Served in a flimsy plastic cup that can be awkward to manage. I ordered the "Mixed Seafood Platter" and really enjoyed it. Comes with a crab cake, calarmari, fish and shrimp with fries & slaw. I have to say though, the crab cake should be renamed "crumb cake". No discernible lumps and quite the disappointment. Probably the first time I didn't finish a crab cake on my plate. Everything else was excellent though and such abundant portions. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
