Their OG location in Hillcrest has been in business since 1988 so I knew it would be a well run establishment. The restaurant is clean, bright, modern and very comfortable. AC was perfectly cool, just how I like it! Service was outstanding. Everyone was so warm, genuine and welcoming. Like many Thai places they do close daily in the afternoon for about an hour and a half. I am not a fan of this but I work around it.  I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and it was excellent! The first thing I noticed was how big the serving was compared to other Thai restaurants I frequent. The chicken was perfectly cooked and moist; not all dried out. The bean sprouts are off to the side if you're not a fan, however the crushed peanut was mixed throughout. That was fine with me. It did have some tofu mixed in which I found off putting but I got over it. I requested a spice level of 3 and they seemed to nail it. Highly recommended.
