Several week ago, I had an interesting conversation with a friend regarding taho, the popular Pinoy beancurd snack with a dark caramel syrup. My friend brought a plastic container of this silky tofu dish all the way from Makati to Quezon City for her significant other to be able to taste it. I found that peculiar as taho is virtually everywhere these days. But she explained that she is particular about the flavor of the actual beancurd as opposed to just the arnibal brown sugar syrup.
Fast forward to this week when I purchased the Yon Ho Instant Soy Milk Powder (P165 / 1 bag containing 10 sachets) as a way to enjoy traditional Chinese-style soy milk on demand and on the go.
