Takeaway Bagels with a difference. Bagel Shack, Sheffield - this place is no joke when it comes to seriously good Bagels. If you're looking for a treat on cheat day, then give this Sheffield based takeaway a visit. [ADINVITE]
You can expect more than your average sandwich from this recently refurbished takeaway restaurant based on Pagehall Road in Sheffield. Smashed Angus Beef patties or Crispy Chicken are the stars of the show, plus a whole lot more. This venue is more of a takeaway place, although there are a few seats should you want to enjoy your food there as soon as it is made. You can place orders to collect, or Bagel Shack is available via Just Eat, Uber East & Deliveroo.
The menu here is based around Bagels for a bargain average of approx. £6, including Bagel Burgers, Brunch sandwiches, sweet variations as well as loaded fries. Bagel Shack also offer a Bagel Box Meal which includes a Smash Bagel, Chicken Loaded Fries, Nachos, Chilli Cheese Nuggets all for £13.99
We enjoyed;
- Bagel Box Meal; Smash Bagel (2x 100% Angus beef patties, lettuce, cheese), Chicken Loaded Fries, Nachos, Chilli Cheese Nuggets (£13.99) - this is a moreish, feast of a meal for one... all presented a foil tray. We thoroughly enjoyed this.
- The Stacker (£7.99); Fresh crispy chicken fillet, egg, hashbrown - I LOVED this! The chicken was juicy and the coating crispy, and anything with an egg and hash brown in it gets my vote. This is a proper cheat burger.
- Mexicaaanooo (£6.99); Fresh crispy chicken fillet, nachos, jalapenos, salsa, lettuce, cheese - a proper, messy but delightful burger. The piece of chicken in this was MASSIVE.
We chose to eat in as this place is about 20 minutes drive away from home and we weren't sure the food would look as good as it did. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and accommodating and clearly love what they do! We really enjoyed the food we had from here.
