I would never have thought of combining chicken and waffles but apparently that's quite popular in the US. During a brunch gathering with friends, the chicken croffles (croissant/waffle hybrid) stood out to me, and although I don't often rave about waffles (unless it's those amazing Brussels waffles that I used to have in Louvain-la-Neuve), I went for it just for the novelty. It turns out that it was a wise choice, as I enjoyed my brunch very much. Obviously nothing bad to say about the fried chicken, and the waffles with the texture of croissants were wonderfully pleasant, especially with some maple syrup. My compliments to KarKumi Cafe, a chic place that I just randomly found on Google - gotta go back for some of the other dishes which all look great!!
